Established in 1690, the Rose and Crown is located in the beautiful Chilterns village of Ivinghoe.

A Free House, The Rose and Crown is housed in beautiful old buildings complete with barn and coach yard (now the garden bar). Made cosy in the winter by open fires and in summer, the outdoor area is a sheltered sun-trap.
We keep 3 or 4 really good ales in top condition. Our guest ales change monthly and we support our local breweries as well as the established favourites.
Our food is based on English and European classic village cuisine. These simple but delicious dishes have been enjoyed for centuries by people who really care about food. Once again, quality comes first and we strive to serve what we can get locally and fresh. The menu changes regularly with the seasons.
Our wines are carefully chosen from around the world to complement our food or to be enjoyed on their own. We choose our wines for their quality and value.
We are a family friendly pub and welcome well socialised dogs on leads.
